Career planning

We spend most of our lives working. Being unhappy with what we do ultimately means being unhappy with our lives.

A career planning session can give you insights about what’s really important to you and help you make an informed career decision.

What is a career plan?

A career plan is much like a travelling plan. If you would like to go to Berlin or Capetown, you need to know where they are located and then figure out how to get there. What exactly do you need to make this possible?

What if you do not know where you would like to go to?

Many people have no idea what they would like to do with their lives or to use the travel analogy, their destinations.  A career planning consultation uses proven intervention techniques to help you figure out what is important to you and to map out a path of how to achieve it.

What happens if you don't have a plan?

Some people stumble along and somehow reach their destinations without any plans. This is an extremely lucky and rare breed.

For most ordinary folks, it rarely happens. Without a plan of what we want to do or where we want to go, most of us get lost and end up exhausted and frustrated.

A bad plan is better than no plan

Crazy as this might sound, it is better to have a terrible plan than no plan at all. This is because a plan however bad gives you a chance to get feedback. You get to learn what works and what doesn't.

Without a plan, you could do the same thing over and over a gain and learn nothing from it.
